Not about us....that’s right, this is not about us, it’s about you. Too many recruitment companies seem to be running their businesses for their own benefit, some kind of ego trip and – worse – treating ‘people’ as mere commodities to be ‘bought & sold’.
We feel privileged to be given the responsibility by a client to find and present a shortlist of the strongest possible candidates for a particular role. It gives us the opportunity to help both client and candidate, putting together a mutually beneficial ‘match’ that may never otherwise have occurred. Also, when we accept a client brief, we know that someone’s life is going to change and that the organisation will change as a result of their contribution, very often for years to come.
This is serious stuff and we treat our role with the utmost care and pride ourselves with a passion for getting it right. The whole process can be extremely stressful, particularly for the candidates – nobody likes being assessed and certainly not being rejected. Although it is a fact of life it doesn’t make it any more palatable.
We feel that the combination of our extensive experience – over 40 years in top level recruitment in New Zealand and Internationally – together with our honest & genuine approach and – dare we say – an infusion of humour to ‘oil the wheels’, gives us the edge in what has become a very crowded marketplace.

Jacqui graduated & qualified as a teacher, then developed a successful career in department store retailing before finding her true vocation in executive recruitment over 18 years ago (read more).
Andrew graduated in sociology before training as an HR Manager (in the days when it was called Personnel!) and set up an executive recruitment company in 1997. He found it reassuring that the companies he used to work for all became clients (read more).
